Head off to the Muddy Rudder, which can be located by going to the bottom of the Stairwell. If you give her 25 Caps for a gun she’ll tell you the location of the Temple of the Union and you’ll get some karma. You’ll get a note from her, and she’ll ask for some help. She’ll tell you that she’s an escaped slave, and that a new person on the ship, Sister, is a slaver. Talk to the people in the science lab, bother Belle Bonny, or talk to Vera at her hotel. Now that you’re done causing trouble you have several leads. If you’re naughty you can convince James to run away with a successful Speech challenge. You might also find Tammy and James Hargrave. Talk to Seagrave and he’ll tell you about Pinkerton, who left after having a spat with the science team a decade ago, and he points you to the broken bow as well. If you ask him about the council he’ll ask you to find some evidence that incriminates Seagrave Holmes. Succeed at a Speech challenge and he’ll tell you to talk to Belle Bonny about the city’s history. Talk to Bannon and ask him about the city’s history. Most folks will refer you to Vera Weatherly or Bannon. Ask them all about Rivet City’s history and Pinkerton. Fast travel to Rivet City and head into the Rivet City Market to find a variety of vendors.
